50 years later.
You flew through the clouds, running your hand through the soft fluff; turning each cloud from white to grey, to black. Rubbing your hands together until they sparked, you dove your hands into a black cloud until lightning flashed. Then you clapped your hands a few times and thunder was heard; echoing off each cloud. You dove under the clouds and looked down to the bare terrain of the Australian Outback. Out of the corner of your eye you saw a grey blur jumping through the bush, heading towards the local township. You grin as you fly towards what you know to be Bunnymund, the Easter Bunny. Getting close to him but staying airborne, you bow a chilly wind up his spine. He jumps and whimpers at the sudden cold and you laugh, forgetting to be quiet so as not to get caught.
Suddenly a chopping sound is approaching and one of Bunny’s boomerangs flies past your head.
“You missed, old man.” You laugh as you fly closer to him.
He just grins as your laugh blocks out the return of his boomerang. The weapon clips your ankles and you are dragged to the ground. Bunnymund pounces on you before you can fly off.
“Messing with my big day again, (Y/N)?”
“I don’t know what you mean. I’m just doing my job.” You try to act as serious as you can.
“You’re making storms on Easter. I thought we agreed that you wouldn’t make a storm on any holiday?” He said in a low growl.
“I can’t help it sometimes. Mother Nature tells me when a storm is needed. Also, sometimes I can’t control my powers when in certain moods.”
“So, what’s today’s excuse?” He asked.
“This terrain needs watering? I felt the need to do some damage repair?”
“You mean from last year when you left my country to dry out?!” He yelled, jumping off you when you summoned another wind up his back.
You flew a little distance from him and rubbed your wrists; he had a real tough grip, that old man.
“I’m sorry. I’m not the only weather spirit, you know? I can’t be blamed for everything.” You say as tears form in your eyes.
Everyone blamed you for every disaster. Drought, Tsunami, Hurricane Katrina – okay, that one was your fault. It’s always an accident, though no one believes you when you say you can’t control your powers sometimes. It’s those dreams, you think.
“Yeah? But you’re the only one who destroys a whole town because YOU’RE IN A BAD MOOD! Others help, not destroy!” He growls, advancing on you again, “Now, stop your storms for the day and leave Easter alone!”
You squeak as you fly into the clouds again. You spin counter clockwise and the storm clouds blow back into white and then clear the skies.
You look down at Bunnymund again and he’s already on his way to deliver his eggs. You sniffle but try to keep calm, as you don’t want to lose control and create a major storm. You fly off to your favourite place; the lake where you first met Jack Frost.

When you got to the lake, you sat down on the bank. It wasn’t frozen over at the moment because it was spring in the US. So you took off your sandals and slipped your toes into the cool water. Knowing you were alone – and far away enough from human civilization so as not to cause damage – you let go of your emotions and started to cry.
“It’s not fair! Everyone makes mistakes, even the Guardians.” You say, not holding back on the venom in your words as you think about the high and mighty ‘Guardians’.
You swirl your toes in the water, making tiny water tornadoes on the surface.
“They don’t understand. They don’t care anyway. All they think is that I destroy things and make humans unhappy. I didn’t ask for these powers! I don’t want them!”
The water tornadoes had gotten bigger now, and with a sigh you wave your hand and they splash back into the lake.
“Even Jack hates me, when he’s just like me. He’s the Guardian of fun and mischief! He tricked the others and caused problems as much as I do. He does it on purpose, when I do it on accident! Now the Guardians are all BFF’s with him and he gets away with everything. It’s not fair!”
You curl up into a ball and cry for a while, letting it all out finally. A little while later a voice speaks out of the dark forest, making you jump.
“I’m sorry you feel that way, (Y/N). I know it’s not much, but I don’t hate you.”
You spin and hover over the lake, watching a shadow move closer into the clearing. You quickly wipe your eyes, not wanting anyone to see your weakness. The voice registers in your head as familiar just as Jack Frost walks into the clearing. You slowly glide back to where you were sitting and picked up your sandals.
“How long were you spying on me?” You say, poking your finger to his chest angrily.
“Hey, this was my lake first! You were the one to disturb my peace, I was sleeping until you came in sniveling. I shouldn’t have to leave MY place.”
“Ha! You say you don’t hate me, yet you insult and belittle me as soon as you open your mouth! You’re a real gentleman, Jack Frost.” You shout, getting in close and still with your finger on his chest.
“You can’t talk, you got defensive first! I don’t hate you, but it’s hard to like you if you’re a bitch all the time!”
“I wouldn’t be such a bitch if you didn’t piss me off all the time, Frost!”
You had both gotten into each other’s personal space and were now close enough to smell his scent, feel his breath on your cheek and feel his chest rise and fall against yours.
“Well the only time you pay attention to me is if I’m pissing you off! So tell me a new way of getting your attention and I’ll stop.” Jack said, slowly softening his voice.
You look up into his crystal blue eyes in shock. Did he just semi confess he liked you? He looked at you in a similar expression of shock.
“Do you… do you like me, Frost?” You whisper, afraid your voice will break if you speak louder.
Without replying he closes the small distance between you and kisses you firmly on the lips. You’re too shocked to move and kiss back, so when his lips leave yours and he sighs, all you can do is reach up and touch your lips.
“I’m sorry. I won’t bother you again. You can have the lake.” He said as he took flight.
Before you could respond, he was gone. You flew up and tried to follow him but couldn’t see further than your nose, as a harsh fog had suddenly covered the area.
“Very smart, Frost.” You say with a sigh.
You sink back down and hover over the lake, your toes just breaching the surface.
“He likes me? HA! If he liked me he wouldn’t make my life so hard. Right? Or is it true what the humans say, what was it? Oh, ‘when a boy bullies a girl, he likes her’. No, couldn’t be, that’s mean.” You start to pace above the water. “He’s the reason why my storms get worse, he adds his snow and ice and they get bigger, I can’t control them if he does that. Then I get blamed for the damages! Even if I did like him once upon a time, he’s done too much I can’t forgive!”
You stop your pacing with a huff. The winds had picked up and the fog cleared, leaving a soft blue sky in its wake. You sigh as you realise your emotions made the weather turn; it was meant to be a nice warm spring day, but you had put a chill in the air and a harsh wind.
“At least it’s not a storm. I haven’t ruined today for Bunny yet.” You say as you fly off, ready to start your work on another town.
Little did you know, Jack had been watching you through the fog.

Jack Frost x Reader Chapter 2
Chapter 2
You were grounded. And it really, really sucked.
You had told your parents you had seen a doe and tried to follow it, but them got distracted by how beautiful the nature around you was and then got lost. It was the best you could come up with for disapearing for almost an hour in the woods; you couldn't just tell them, "Hey, I kinda just met Jack Frost back there and we had this epic snowball fight and flew around a bit" all casual-like and expect them to take you seriously.
They still grounded you though. And so there you were, lying on your bed, trying to concentrate on a novel; however your brain had other plans, and you kept

Jack Frost X Reader
The Toothfairy stood at your head board watching you sleep. Her delicate fingurs trased the line of the sleeping girl's hair. Oh, if the little girl only knew who she was or what she was. Just then a black shadow covered the walls. It's laugher filled the room and echoed off of the walls.
"What are you doing here?!" She turned towards the shadow.
"I'm just here to see the little Summer." His voice was dark just like his figur.
"Haven't you done enough to her?"
"Oh, my dear Tooth, I thribe on fear and sadness. So why would I leave this oppertunity alone?" A bright blue light flowed into the room, making the shadow creep farther away from T

I do NOT own any characters or Rise of the Guardians
FINALLY!
Okay, so this is short because I've actually changed the direction of the next chapter, had thought it was going too fast and not enough interaction with Jack and the others.
So please tell me what you think and if you have any ideas of rendezvous with Jack

yayayay i like what you've done it gives a lot more to think about opens up a lot on where the story can go . and as for a rendezvous, how about as a particularly bad storm is happening with reader trying to protect the families who did not evacuate, an all to familiar black shape starts to appear.... until the guardians show up to help.
